Why You’re Attracted To The Wrong Type
Do you always date the wrong type? Do you swear time and time again that you’ll pick better next time, only to keep dating the wrong guys/girls again? Here are 8 reasons why you might be choosing the wrong type:
1. You like having a project. For some people, the idea of choosing someone that needs saving is really appealing. You might get a thrill out of dating someone with a lot of baggage or who has a lot of problems because you want to be able to swoop in and help them turn their life around. This usually backfires when you aren’t able to save them unless they want to help themselves.
2. You’re bored. You might be looking for a little excitement in your life and purposely choose the wrong type to add some excitement. Even though the fights and stress that come from dating someone who is wrong for you don’t seem like a good thing, some people enjoy the break from being stuck in a rut.
3. You like the drama. Some people thrive on drama and passion. Sure, dating someone who isn’t right for you can mean a lot of arguing and fighting, but some people secretly need that in their lives. The idea of dating someone who they simply get along with can seem boring and totally unappealing to some.
